In the remote regions of Azad Kashmir, the echoes of the India-Pakistan conflict still haunt the lives of many innocent families. At Black Box Foundation, our mission is to bring hope and relief to those who have been left with nothing but loss, pain, and uncertainty.
One such story is that of Muhammad Aziz, a courageous man who has endured a lifetime of hardship because of war.
A Life Disrupted by Conflict
Twelve years ago, Muhammad Aziz was forced to flee his hometown of Polas due to the violence and destruction caused by the India-Pakistan battle. His family paid a heavy price—his brother Sajid Lal Deen was tragically killed in the conflict, and another brother, Muhammad Zubeer, was seriously injured.
With no choice but to protect his remaining family, Aziz left everything behind. He migrated with his wife and eventually settled in a small village called Ghameer Payee, Abbaspur, hoping to rebuild his life in peace. But fate struck again.
Recently, Aziz’s house was burned down, leaving him and his family homeless once more. He now lives in a small temporary camp, barely large enough to shelter his wife and three young children. They survive in dire conditions, with only a small kitchen and no basic facilities.
Struggling to Survive
Aziz’s children are unable to attend school because of extreme poverty. The family owns no livestock for milk and has no land to grow food or earn a livelihood. With no proper shelter, no income, and no opportunities, their future remains uncertain.
Yet, despite these challenges, Aziz remains hopeful for the sake of his children.

At Black Box Foundation, we have taken the responsibility to support Muhammad Aziz and his family. Our immediate goal is to build a new home for them and help his children access education—giving them a chance at a better life.
